It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged about our boys in blue. Apparently, I’m not missing much. The Pistons just lost (again) to the Charlotte Hornets, 103-97.
The Pistons’ motto used to be, “Let’s go to work,” but lately it seems that some of the players would be happier sleeping on the job. Dale Davis is irresponsible. Rasheed is running late. Geez, it sounds like a high school classroom.
Now, I know the Pistons’ organization wants to spin this as health reasons because of Rasheed’s nagging ankle injury, but I really have to question Wallace’s motivation. Take a look at the stats. WHY is one of the best post players in the NBA shooting five 3-pointers in a game (admittedly, he made three, but he only made two baskets from inside the arc)? Is he hurt? Is it laziness? I have my own opinions, and I’m wondering if its time for the Pistons to cut their losses and start shopping Rasheed around the league.
UPDATE: Apparently, a lot of people are taking notice of Rasheed’s attitude.
