Who needs an iPhone?

Certainly not me! I have happily upgraded my cell phone to something much more reasonable!

Okay, I suppose that’s not such a big story, but hey, I said I’d write about technology in this blog. Anyway, so far I’m loving my new LG VX8300. While the reception isn’t quite as good as my old Motorola E815, the phone has very cool media player capabilities (I love the skip and play buttons that are accessible with the flip closed). And just like my old phone, this one can be hacked to death. I’ve already got it set up for DUN for when I visit Sarah’s parents in the boonies, and I’ve added my own custom ring tones (without paying Verizon’s exorbitant costs). WAP hacking for free Internet access is also working.

Perhaps the best thing, is that it takes much better pictures than my E815. Check them out!

Boonies? Did you say boonies?????

Hey! If I’m from the boonies, so is Rob!

WAP hacking? That sounds kinda shady…well, at least the hacking part. I have no clue what WAP entails.
