What a neat weekend! Our congratulations to my friend Casey and his new wife, Sarah. Great name choice, Casey! Their wedding took place just north of Lansing. Although it rained, it was still beautiful! It was great to see faces from the past - Jovon, Greg, Amy - some of the old church and 4-H crowd. It reminded me of what a great childhood I had, and of the many great memories I have.
Rob and I taped a wedding in the Detroit area. We have, for sure, found the worst roads in the state of Michigan. We couldn’t believe the condition of some of the roads and bridges we drove on. The wedding was very interesting - the wedding party was made up of more than 20 people (made pictures interesting).
It was also great to see my sister, who came back for a job interview in Michigan. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that she will be a perfect fit somewhere, so that she and Scott can move back here!
Keep me in your thoughts as I head to Mexico with students. We leave this afternoon, and will be gone until the 24th of June. Say “hi” to my wonderful husband while I’m away!
